Room Sensor Issue

Hey Chris - Welcome to the forum.

There was a common issue for several months of the 22 models with the thermistors that read the temperature being swapped at the control board. Those models have a G6 Spyder and a stand alone RSI-9 board where the thermistors connect. You having a 23 however have a bit different setup as you likely have a G12 Spyder. You would know which Spyder Control you have as the G6 has a accessible front panel with resettable fuses usually place in a lower cabinet and the G12s are in pairs and usually placed behind an access panel.

This is a picture of the G6:

You can look at this link and this is where the thermistors is discussed for those of us with G6 and a RSi-9.

This below link has the pinouts for both the G6 and the G12 units. You can see on the last image in that post that the G12 units have the thermistor connecting at J12. Here is a screenshot of that with addition to the link.

The good thing is if it is reversed thermistors (which is sounds like from your description) it is a pretty easy fix in swapping the zones on the control board. Some cut the wires and re-splice and other use a de-pinning tool.

Spyder has really excellent customer service so I am sure you will hear back from them. I usually call them and have been very responsive and helpful. 1-866-919-9092
