I have a 2021 Vilano i’ve asked this question for about three years i’ve gotten the same answer as the ask the manufacturer
Shouldn’t there be a propane meter inside the coach on the control panel On day of purchase
Lazy Days in Knoxville assured me there was a propane level indicator inside and the rookie mistake was I did believe him I had one on my Forest River travel trailer but since this is a high-end coach, I thought well maybe that would be included somewhere
On this digital Wi-Fi control panel. There are options within this control panel but as a customer, we don’t know the specific codes
Is there anyway I could get a giant book of codes, user manual , user guide just everything there is to learn about the wiring the How to and what not of my coach
I haven’t found sensors or a display setting on my Spyder to read the propane levels. I’m thinking the sales guy did what they always do…lie or make it up. I use sensors and a simple display from Mopeka to measure and display the levels in my propane tanks. The sensors also can be read by my Victron Cerbo GX so the propane levels appear on my Cerbo display.
As @Wandering_Nomads said there isn’t anything that reads the propane levels within the spyder system. I have done the same mentioned and have Mopeka sensors and used them on the last three rigs. With Mopeka you can see the levels from the app on your phone or buy the WiFi bridge and will give you a display to place in your rig and check the levels remotely. I have mine tied to my Cerbo and can monitor my levels remotely through VRM which is working nicely this week as I am a few thousand miles from the rig which is in freezing temps.
There isn’t a whole lot to configure with the codes for the spyder system outside of changing to a different unit or enabling some functions like when adding an additional AC. You do this by going into settings, holding “coach model” for 7 seconds and entering the code 1478.
I have another post in the group where I posted the login for spyder website which really just gives the pinout for the Spyder G6 and RS-9 (2016-2022 models) and G12 (2023 models).
If you have specific questions about the Spyder control systems you can contact Spyder and they have excellent customer service. All wiring questions would have to go through Tiffin.
