Trim insert replacement drama

Good day all, I had the trim insert replaced around 8ths ago for a bad quality one which just flew out on my way to new storage see below.

My question is the one I just purchased appears to be beveled will this help pictures below

I assume this is the vinyl screw cover that can be found over the upper rail and on the sweep in the front? I have replaced all of mine twice and have used a 7/8 product that I purchased on Amazon (link below).

I am uncertain of the bevel of your product but the typical vinyl cover has bevel on the edges to pop into the track rail. If you look at the pictures on the link I provided they have a close up of the shape of that product.

Thanks Ryan I went with the JR products one with the bevel edges and tried a test for today for full fitting tomorrow

This part is still available from Tiffin parts. I have had to replace it on the rear cap and drivers side top due to sun damage. You can get a rubber version from All-rite but it is more expensive (may last longer but until Tiffin runs out, I will replace with the original material).

This thread got me thinking as I never noticed this trim was missing on my unit. I’m guessing the trim was removed during painting and never reinstalled as the screws and rail were painted.

I used this trim in 1" width as it matched the size on the bottom of the front compartment. It seemed a bit thicker than others so hopefully that means it’ll last a bit longer.
