Hi has anyone figured out a sunshade for the shower dome ?
We used an opaque window covering on the backside of the interior trim piece. You could use window tinting material to cut it down even more.
Perfect thanks
We found spray window tint in automotive section of Walmart. We took down the skylight down from inside the shower, cleaned it off, then sprayed the tint on what is the inner side of the skylight, then replaced it after it dried. We chose to not do it solid, but instead varied the thickness of the spray to make it look like clouds. We are very happy with it, as it still lets in some light, but blocks out a lot of the heat and it always looks like we are looking up at clouds.
I ordered a pillow on Amazon with the exact dimensions to fit in there. It has reflectix (sp?) on one side. So it blocks light and insulates. I think it’s made specifically for skylights in the shower. It just squeezes up in there so it’s easy to remove when you actually want light and heat.
