Problems accessing this site

We have had a significant drop in Page views for this site. I manage a few different sites and some drop off is normal for RV related sites in the summer as folks are busy enjoying their rigs instead of working on them as in the Spring / Fall. With that said the Page view drop has been significant.

I stood this site up in early 2023 and the Page Views had grown slowly and continuously from that time however as of August of this year the views have dropped back to when this site was first stood up. I am making sure that there is not an access / functional issue with the site that is causing this. It appears to be operating fine for me however runs on my servers. Can you please provide feedback if you have had issues navigating / posting / commenting / receiving emails on the site?

I will guess if nobody responds there might be an issue.

Thanks!

Hey Ryan - I haven’t experienced any access issues from my end and I usually check in for new activity once a day. I have noticed a significant drop in new topics and replies to existing topics.

The last email notification to a topic I follow was early September.

Hope it’s just folks busy with life and there’ll be more activity soon.

works fine on my end, hopefully right now no one is having problems with there rigs, but one query i have is has anybody had any problems with the double glazing on there rigs, I have a couple of windows that have lost there seal and are getting very cloudy, can you replace just the glass or do you have to replace whole window assemblies
many thanks spud

Thanks for the responses. I will continue monitoring the site.

Spud - One of my windows that contained three sections had the smaller opening glass portion become fogged (see pic). Lippert stated they would send me the singular piece that was foggy to replace. In the end I happened to be at Tish a few months later so they replaced the entire rear window. If you contact lippert with your VIN they can help you chase down the replacement. I am even aware of a few folks that Lippert sent them free glass outside of the warranty timeframe.

There are many youtube videos on correcting the fog yourself if you want to try to DIY it. I am contemplating tackling a DIY approach in the spring. There are also many repair places that will take care of the fog - one in example is the RVFOGDR in Arkansas. Last quote I had from them was around $150 per window but having a reason to get to their area is a whole other issue. We may end up in AZ a few more times this winter / spring and I know of a few folks down there.

AZ Expert did a great job of documenting a glass repair guy doing one in a Beaver Coach.

A quick google pulled up a DIY’er but he does a fair job of walking through the process.

No problems for me. We have been traveling all summer & now in Waterloo NY at Muranda Cheese Barn in finger lakes region. Very nice.

Thank-you for managing this site for us Vanleigh orphans!

Really appreciate your response RyanB, will look into the DIY way as my unit is a 2020 and out of warranty now. Thanks

Everything appears to be working on my end.

Works well on my end. Heading out again this week and noticed during a repack that one of the right rear brake electrical wires had dislodged from the magnet.

Have been getting them email and the site seems to be working well for me. Thanks, it is helpful.
