For the past couple of weeks I have been dealing with my AC units tripping breakers or my power watchdog shutting off my power because of over current draw. I am just wondering what the best direction might be to go. I could install 3 softstarts one on each AC unit, that might fix the problem with tripping breakers. I could also get a Autoformer, that might also fix my problem, maybe I need to do both. Anyone have any experience with Autoformers or the Softstart RV?
Lynn, I had that problem last summer myself. I found that what worked and what has continued to work for me is I installed a soft start that I had on hand and I ordered 2 additional soft starts for the coleman brand and changed all three of my AC in one day.,That has worked for me since then.

The Coleman soft start is easy to install and works great so far for me. The other soft start I had on hand works but just a little more expensive and instructions were a bit different.
The colemen are a good bit cheaper in price.
Lynn I a not much help as I didnt experience this but I also had micro air soft starts on all three of my units through the duration of owning it.
