I have recently taken over the entire maintenance upkeep etc. of my coach and I have a few questions one is when the coach is completely unplugged from shore power
Should the power inverter (in the front compartment) be on or off

The inverter will allow you to run limited 120V AC items while only on battery. Vanleigh would typically provide a smaller inverter to run the residential fridge but nothing else.
If you have a residential fridge and aren’t connected to shore power, you should have the inverter turned on so it can provide power to run the fridge. The time you can run the fridge off the inverter will be limited to what you have for the batteries. You should keep an eye on the battery capacity/level so that you don’t drain the batteries while running the inverter.
Having a good battery monitor, like the Victron BMV-712, will allow you to know how much battery capacity you have left.
