On my 23’ Beacon the light dimming function quits working at times, then mysteriously will start working again.
I think when my wife hits “all lights on” button is when dimming stops working.
What I would really like to know is how to get the “dimming” to work again. There has to be something that brings it back but as of yet, I haven’t been able to figure how to do it on command.
It just comes back to working at random times. I know there has to be a way to purposely get it working again instead of waiting for it to mysteriously start working on its own.
I would call Spyder support if I in your shoes. They are extremely helpful. They will probably want the information off of your setting / diag screen so they understand the versions.
My Ambition does this on a regular basis. Like clockwork every 3 - 6 weeks. The issue is the ‘press-and-hold’ buttons stop working on the remote panels.
The only fix I’ve found is to re-boot the system. Turn off the power disconnect in the basement, turn it back on.
The first time this happeded was in the first few weeks we had the RV. The lights not dimming anymore didn’t really register with me as everything was new and the dimmers worked from the main control panel. What did register is the bedroom slide stopped working (from the bedroom remote). It’d move for about 1 sec. I’d stand there pressing and re-pressing the button 60 times to get the slide in or out. It took several weeks working with Tiffin, modules sent out, etc, before I finally realized it worked fine from the main panel and it was just the button on the remote. I tried the system re-boot on a whim and the slide and light dimmers worked fine again.
