I am having trouble retracting my galley slides, or, front end slides in my 2018 369fb. I have power and I have power and all else I can think of. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Since these are two different slide types hydraulic (galley & dinette) and schwintek (bed and vanity) I’m thinking it could be related to power and a tripped breaker. I’d check in the front compartment to see if any of the big breakers have tripped.
Front compartment breakers
For the schwintek electric check the resettable breakers in the G6 panel.
And lastly if those haven’t been tripped then it could be battery related if you’re not connected shore power. Also check your converter breaker to make sure it hasn’t tripped as that converts 120 VAC to 12 VDC if connected to shore power.
Forgot to ask if you might have used the selector valves in the passenger side propane compartment to bypass the galley hydraulic slide if the dinette slide is working properly.
The other troubleshooting step is to make sure the Spyder controller has that module working. Need to go tools diagnostics and make sure connected electronically. I had that problem where connection was intermittent.
Thank you very much. I was able to turn on the Spyder module and watch a video. That solved the issue. Although, it was a cramped place to watch a video.
So to clarify the issue was with the Spyder controller?
Sadly I seem to be having the same problem lately, when I push the button to retract hydraulic slides it just makes a clicking sound and nothing moves. checked the batteries stilled hooked to shore power and they were reading 13.45 v which I take as they are charging, unhooked batteries retested and just getting readings of below 10v so bought two new batteries and the slides worked as normal, thinking it was a power problem thought I had it fixed, worked fine for 3 different stops, then last stop would not retract again, just makes a click sound, checked fuses, fluid levels, all fine. The hydraulic legs work as they should with no problems will level rig and retract with push of button, not sure where to go from here. Has anyone used the drill method to make the slides come in and how did it work? and how does it bring the slides in and not retract the levelling legs as they both work off the same pump, any ideas appreciated, thanks spud
