Looking for some info on the rear A/C unit, just last night it sounded like it exploded, apon inspection found that the compressor fan unit had broken into several pieces. luckily did not puncture the coil, now do i need to just replace the fan blade or do i have to get the whole unit, looking on line i can only find one company selling the fan with motor and casing, and no links to just the fan blade, any ideas on where to get a replacement, right now on a trip to New Mexico and were in a heat wave, guess you could call it luck of the Irish. many thanks Spud
Sounds like your squirrel cage exploded. I have never had it happen to me but I have met a lot of folks that carry spares since it is commonly reported of them falling apart after a large bang on the roof.
I had a spare that somebody gave me but I gave it to somebody that had theirs blow up. This was the part number I had.
I did a quick google search for the model number of Coleman Mach on my Beacon (47004B679) and saw some posts referencing changing the fan assembly and the new upgraded 3 blade fan. Let us know what you end up chasing down. Good luck!
