So, I decided to recover the dining chairs because I hate the vinyl Van Leigh used in our Beacon 42RDB. Today, I’m doing the Stakmore chairs and after removing the dust cover on the seat bottom, I find the instructions on how to open the chair stapled to the bottom! WTF?!
I have to admit I didn’t know there were any folding chairs in Vanleigh’s. I know mine didn’t fold. Are these the dining table chairs?
Regardless for sure not the best place for instructions to be. Entertaining however.
Yes, they’re extras that were stored under the bed. They’re much smaller than the usual chairs and they don’t have a padded back. Oh, and get this, they’re made in Vietnam. Go figure.
We don’t really use ours and took them out to save space. At least yours had instructions, nothing on our pair. The QR code from your photo did lead to a more helpful video for unfolding them.

I lay mine seat side down on the floor , pull the seat up about 3 inches then spread the legs.
They are quite stable & comfortable & folding back up is much easier.
